NEW YORK - September 8 2022- New record breaking tourist arrivals to the United States were announced today by the Israel Ministry of Tourism. The country welcomed 78,000 travelers from the United States in July 2022, a 4% increase from 2019, and 71,000 total travelers from the United States in August 2022 which is an increase of 13% from 2019. He stated, It's so exciting to witness a further increasing number of tourists visiting Israel from the United States, and already in the process of surpassing or exceeding our record breaking numbers of 2019. The United States is our top market for inbound tourism for Israel. Before the COVID-19 epidemic, we saw record-breaking numbers of tourists from Israel visiting Israel each month. We are so happy to see such a positive shift and expect this trend to last for a long time. Canada is poised to beat Israel's tourism arrivals, with 7,200 tourists visiting Israel in the month of July 2022 and 6,600 tourists in August.
